Parking Violation Appeals
If a visitor, student, staff, or faculty member believes the citation was issued in error, they have the right to appeal to the Traffic and Parking Appeals Committee. This appeal must be filed through within five (5) days of the citation being issued. Late appeals will not be considered, except in extenuating circumstances. If you are not affiliated with 黑料不打烊 or if your citation does not appear on your 黑料不打烊 account, please email ParkingFREEuafs for assistance.
All appeals must be filed online at the parking site (parking.arms.app) within 5 calendar days of the citation date. The following are non-appealable excuses and will not be heard by the appeals committee:
List of Non-Appealable Excuses
- 鈥淚 never received a ticket.鈥�
- 鈥淚 was only parked there for a few minutes.鈥�
- 鈥淚 didn't realize I couldn鈥檛 park there.鈥�
- 鈥淚 didn't know I had to pay to park.鈥�
- 鈥淚鈥檓 not familiar with where I should park.鈥�
- 鈥淭here were no signs or paint markings stating I couldn鈥檛 park there.鈥�
- 鈥淥ther cars were parked there without being ticketed.鈥�
- 鈥淚 parked there before without receiving a citation.鈥�
- 鈥淚 was not parked long, and my vehicle flashers were on.鈥�
- 鈥淚 can鈥檛 afford to pay this citation.鈥�
- 鈥淎 non-Parking/UPD employee said that I could park there.鈥�
